I personally would go for the Xenical. It stops the absorption of dietary fats in the intestines and reduces the incidence of diabetes. It’s side effects are a loss of vitamins, which can be corrected by taking vitamins on a daily basis, not too bad.
Meridia is related to amphetamine, methamphetamine, and phentermine and has all the related problems. One of the side effects are possible seizures. Not good. Can cause, depression or mania. Many people become allergic to it.
Meridia has too many cons to balance out whatever pros can be found.
Have a good talk with your physician or pharmacist.
