Any tips on how to deal with anxiety, ive just come off diazepam and struggling right now

I have a fused vertebrae in my neck C5&C6, Its give me pain, tension, bad headaches sleepless nights since I was about 14 as I have got older and grown its got worse. Due to them being fused my nerves between them are being squashed and thats what causes the pain,also the vertebra above and below are getting stiff and painful as they are compensating for the fused ones. I have been to the physiotherapist, chiropractor & the Doctors but none help. After leaving the chiropractors I feel a little relief but only for about a hour. I get no sleep as the pain is so bad, only way I can get a good sleep is if I take Diazepam through the day which relaxes my muscles and knocks me out, but I cant do this for ever as the doctor told me id get addicted to them and I can see why. I have tried heat pads, cold pads, hot baths, cold baths, neck massage machines, inferred heat. Ive been told I could have surgery but its a 50 50% chance it would make it worse. anyone have this problem? if so what help u

Ingredients:
• 1 confused patient
• 5 distressed relatives
• 1 hospital room
• 3 am nurses, 2 PM nurses & 2 night nurses
• 1 Ward doctor & 1 on-call doctor
• 2 large porters
• 1 syringe & needle containing sedative
• 1 ward assorted sick people
METHOD
• Separate patient from familiar environment and add to cold hard
bed in a strange room.
• Ask family to leave.
• Ward doctor should examine patient.
• Change nurses regularly.
• After 8 hours turn off lights.
• Disturb Regularly to check if asleep.
• If patient protests, add on-call doctor.
• Wait until patient is frightened & distressed then apply 1 large
porter to each arm.
• Inject sedative into patient while repeating
“THIS WONT HURT IT’S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD???
• Agitate the whole ward for 4 hours and await ward round.
• Repeat injection if the patient shows any sign of waking up.

hi im a man in his early forties and since i was about 22 ive had depression but the anxiety was worse and i did have a breakdown.Ive been on anti depressents and diazepam but after all these years i have good days but bad ones r always there, id really like to know if people out there have had what ive had and been completly better or is this something im going to have to live with, thank u

has any one tried st johns wort? Does it work for anxiety?
does diazepam work still if you are taking it?
