   Correct me if I’m wrong. But isn’t Diazepam a
   prescription medication? There’s no question
   that there are plenty of prescription pills on the
   market, to treat all sort of ailments: epilepsy to
   narcolepsy; athlete’s foot to insomnia, and
   everything else in between.
   But, let the buyer beware: some ailments just
   aren’t serious enough to need a prescription;
   some can be well-enough treated by an “over
   the counter” medication. (And, what is more,
   the vast majority of prescription medications
   carry a risk of dependency. In other words, they
   can be habit forming; addictive. And that can
   be just the tip of the iceberg. They can also
   have side-effects that are worse than the prob-
   lem you’re trying to get rid of.)
   I’d suggest that you talk to your local pharmacist
   first thing tomorrow morning. They can actually
   be much more knowledgeable than your local
   MD!
   They can also do you the favor of suggesting a
   medication that you DO NOT need a prescription
   for. Need I say more? All right. I will.

   I’m almost sure you can’t. My father takes that medication, and he always needs a prescription.

   no you cant, you would have to get it from a doctor, they are regulated just the same as anywere else.
