I Can’t Lose Weight. For Over 6 Month Now I Have Been Working Out And Restricting Calories With No Results
I am a very healthy person, despite being obese. I eat healthy food, fruits, vegtables, whole grains, chicken, fish. I try and restrict my calories to under 2000. Which is about 1500 less then what I would need to maintain my weight. I love working out, and do so 4 or 5 times a week, running, walking, cardio machines, bike. I burn at least 800 calories each time I work out, which usually takes me 60-90 mins. I went to my pc doctor today and he did blood, which I know will come back normal, but refused to prescribe me anything like phentermine or meridia, even though I asked for it. He even told me he could refer me to a bariatic specialist, but he wouldn’t give a damn FDA approved prescription. I do not want to have surgery to lose weight. I am very upset about my situation and I am looking for advice.

Drugs excreted by the kidney accumulate in renal failure and cause toxicity. That is the reason.
Similarly drugs toxic to the kidneys are also to be avoided in renal failure.
Your kidneys are your bodies filters, along with the liver. If your kidneys are compromised the drugs will build up in your body and not only further damage the kidneys but also become toxic on their own.
It has to be flushed out of the system and the kidneys take a hit. With renal failure there is no room for mistakes.

It must be your metabolism….
Why would you lose weight, and even consider surgery if you’re healthy? I guess your doctor wont prescribe you any medications because he thinks the same. I’m not sure about your weight, but maybe it’s so low that you will have a hard time losing anything, from the amount of calories you eat and exercises you do, that may sound likely. There may be no fat to burn?
