I Found Xanax And Diazepam(valium) In My Brothers Russack?
I am sure he is using them to get high, or what not…. What do I do?
I have legal custody of my brother, and I just… Don’t know what to do.

The answer to your question is not as simple as everyone might think. First off you need to have a talk with your brother, get him to be honest with you without resorting to threats. You need more information before cutting him off cold turkey, suddenly stopping any medication can cause death.
Don’t play doctor, talk to your brother and see if there is something bothering him. Don’t be accusatory you will only push him further away or he might even run away which could bring about dire consequences. Talk with your brother and be there for him, he needs you. I agree with bigfisht that you need to have a non judgemental honest conversation with him about this. If my parents died at such a young age i could see this would be a problem with me too.
If he would go to a counselor and then a psych doctor he could probably get a script for an anti depressand and xanax. He needs to deal with this issue and you need to be there for him.
That being said, you cannot enable him or be a co dependent so if he does not open up and you cant get this resloved you have to show tough love. Do you have any uncles or aunts or grandparents that can help. Just a thought.
take them away from him right away and dont tell him about it.. if hes starts to go crazy threatin him tht you would call the police.. but just keep him away from those drugs because it will do him worse…if hes still addcited give him candy as a replacement.also teach him that drugs can kill u, and totally ruin ure life, but be calm about it.
