Is Diazepam (valium) Available To Buy In The Netherlands?
As mentioned – same as in the UK and most of Europe (from answers I have seen on this one before from other people in other countries), Valium is something you would have to get a prescription from a doctor for.
Only then can you buy it from a chemist (apotheek)
You may well be able to get it online of course like many of these things nowadays but personally wouldn’t touch drugs that were not from a official vendor such as a chemist (where you know the dosage and contents are legit, regulated and tested)

All they said are true. I was in The Netherlands 2 years ago and was so sick. Sometimes even doctors just don’t prescribe drugs in The Netherlands as they believe more on self healing process by yourself. I remember my officemate who is an American but working in NL usually buys medicines in the US during her vacations and brought to NL as she finds hard to as for a prescription from doctors, but of course she use those for emergency purposes only.
We have pharmacies where you can get all the medicines you need, but not free of prescription. We also have stores where you can buy pain killers and other prescription-free drugs but Valium is not one of them.
So your answer is : yes, we have it but you won’t get it without a prescription from a doctor.
