Need Info On Diazepam?
My doctor recently increased my dosage of the medicine I am on for anxiety called diazepam to 20 mg’s a day…….I have people telling me that’s too much, but I have a severe anxiety/panic problem and I have found that taking 20 mg a day has almost ended the problem….a problem I had all my life until I saw a doctor this year!…..any suggestions?

Your tablet contains 50mg of tramadol hydrochloride. If you break it in half you would only be receiving half of the labeled amount of the active ingredient.
The question is, was tramadol prescribed to you? If so, you should be taking the amount prescribed by your doctor. If not, don’t take half of it, don’t take a quarter of it, don’t take it at all.
You shouldn’t cut it in half unless your doctor specifically told you to. I take a medication that isn’t coated and my doctor gave me a pill splitter. Your medication is extended release, which means if you cut it or crush it, it will release into your system much faster than it should.
You shouldn’t have a bad effect, but I wouldn’t take that chance. You’d have a worse effect if you crushed it because it will release into your bloodstream much faster.
If the medicine is prescribed to you, and you have taken it before, then cutting it in half should not produce any bad effects. However, if this drug wasn’t prescribed to you and you are trying to extend the amount you have, then don’t.
Your doctor knows what you should be taking and if he is a new GP that you havent seen before then for sure get a second opinon but if he is your regular GP then he obviously knows very much about your needs. You can always get a second opnion at any time.
Diazepam is a Valium and if your doctor prescribed 20 Mg’s a day then take it. If you are pharming and want to know how much you can take without hurting yourself zero is to much.

Best of Luck.
Unless these other people are doctors, listen only to your doctor. It is obvious that it is working for you.
