Tramadol made me feel extremely “doppy” and sleepy. My coordination was extremely altered and my concentration levels were low. Also, I had some itchiness, restlessness and feeling hot and cold.
Overall it is a very powerful drug and highly addictive.
I would say that it usually took 2 or 3 days after I stopped taking it (between 100 and 300 mg per day) before all these effects wore off. However, do not attempt to stop suddenly without talking to your doctor because of the high risks of withdrawal symptoms, especially if you take up to 400 mg per day.

PS: needless to say, don’t mix with alcohol and be very careful of adding any other medication.

Besides the normal drowsiness, is there any serious interactions. I did call the pharmacy but she wasn’t clear.

My 11 year old Rottweiler, Belle, is on Tramadol for her arthritis. She’s been on it for about 4-5 months, and is now taking nearly 9 pills a day. Recently she has started having an upset stomach, and vomits. Is this a normal reaction after being on this medicine for this long?
Should I contact my vet?

I took a tramadol pill a few hours ago but I didn’t have time to eat enough. Now I feel sick and pretty much generally crappy. What can I do to fix the tramadol nausea? What foods should I eat right now to feel better? Would a lot of mac and cheese make me feel better or worse?
