How Could Benzodiazepines, Like Diazepam, Work To Counteract The Effect Of Tetanus Toxin?

tetanus is a certain shape that will bind to your nervous system and eat it away and cause problems. diazepam may be a certain shape that will bind to the tetanus and make it become dormant, if the tetanus bacteria is bound to something the shape of it will change that will make it so it doesn’t have the same shape as before to bind to the nervous system.

  1. This posting seems very vague. Is there more information about this or is there a study somewhere that I can refer to for more information? So far I’ve only read that Diazepam is used for convulsions and spasms.

    Thanks,
